Health means everything at Shinners Regal and all my dogs are DNA VWD & health profiled and registered with the CCCQ.

We follow the lines of our breeding stock heavily to protect our animals from Cardio Myopathy, Wobblers and other ailments related to dobermans through out history.  We breed with great dedication and respect to the Dobermann (also spelt Doberman is Australia and America) and strive to stabilise the health and continuance of the breed. We only breed to retain a puppy for ourselves and so therefore need healthy strong, stable & able dogs. Our dedication becomes your good fortune!

Why are we SPECIAL?

We raise all our puppies in a family environment and "IMPRINT" Imprinting is the MOST important phase of breeding & determines the general way in which your puppy learns to think act and respond to things in its environment.

OBEDIENCE All the Dobermanns we have at our grounds ...including pups in litters... are obedience trained. Obedience is imperative to maintaining the mental stimulation and health of the dogs, it also ensures they are easy to live with.

Our dogs at Shinners Regal are not hard or over drivey, instead i have breed for stability and enjoy building the drives in my dogs, not having to control them.  I have found that this form of breeding lends itself to satisfying my needs as a sport dog competitor and is a responsible form of breeding, as my puppies are very easily accepted into everyday pet homes, as they are not overly large or difficult to manage.

Why i know what I'm talking about...

I have been in a breeding family for the entirety of my life and have seen just about everything that can eventuate through the whelping and puppy periods. I have developed my own puppy imprint programme based on everything i have learned and it works! This will soon be available for breeders and those interested in how to developed a puppy the ethical and responsible way. Our imprinting is how we have developed into a highly respected breeding kennel so quickly.

I am a member of multiple training facilities and participate in many different phases of dog sport and showing.
Just some of the activities our dogs enjoy are:

All phases of IPO dog sport
Obedience, Tracking, Temperament testing or Protection as it is sometimes refered to,
Confirmation showing,
Tricks,
Swimming and being loved and adored by the family.

We also train to C2 level with Gold Coast Obedience Club with each dog for socialisation and training under heavy distraction
